The Summer and Autumn activities programme is in full swing at Fair Close – from arts and crafts, flower arranging, tea and tech, singing, karaoke, bingo, whist and boardgames and lots more, there’s something taking place every weekday from Monday to Friday. Last week the Centre welcomed ukulele band, MisSpentUkes of Newbury who gave an incredible performance which our members enjoyed so much that they sang, clapped and danced along with the music throughout. Flower arranging has also been a popular option and we are very grateful to florist, Lindsey Kitchin for her amazing sessions.

And the best news is that for the rest of this year, ALL activities and entertainment are only £1 per session thanks to a very generous grant of £5,000 from The Pargiter Trust in partnership with Berkshire Community Foundation. Thank you to both organisations for their support.
