Our Easter bonnet competition on Wednesday 25th March was egg-stra special thanks to the Arts Society Newbury. Their wonderful donation will enable us to expand our arts & craft offering across both the Fair Close Centre and the Camellia Club. Daniella, our Activities Co-ordinator, plans to bring in new materials and arts skills.
The Arts Society is has been bringing arts education and culture to a network of over 64,000 members worldwide for more than 50 years. The Newbury Society is a friendly group with a shared curiosity for the arts. It provides monthly lectures and day trips with art experts and volunteers and provides grants to encourage people in our local community to appreciate art and develop their creative abilities. www.theartssocietynewbury.org.uk
