About our Men’s Shed
The Fair Close Centre Men’s Shed is a space to pursue woodworking, wood carving and wood turning. It enables men & women to build social connections and friendships and share skills and knowledge with one another. It also offers company and camaraderie
Our Men’s Shed operates under the umbrella of the UK’s Men’s Sheds Association and can be found at the rear of the Centre
You can engage in our carpentry workshops using one of our fully equipped workbenches

Door to door transport services to the Fair Close Centre
We provide door-to-door transport services from your home to the Fair Close Centre Monday to Friday. We can pick-up from your home in the Thatcham and Newbury areas for just £4 return
