We plan to set up a new Dementia service later this year to meet growing demand and we would like your help to name our new Club. This will provide outstanding day care for those living with early to moderate stages of dementia as well as providing very important respite for carers.
We are seeing more and more people living with dementia visiting Fair Close. These individuals often attend our Dementia Café with family carers and enjoy Fair Close’s delicious lunches.
We plan to set up a new Dementia service later this year to meet the growing demand and we would like your help to name our new Club. This will provide outstanding day care for those living with early to moderate stages of dementia as well as providing very important respite for carers. It will be run 2 to 3 days per week within the newly renovated lounge space.
The Club will co-exist alongside the daily activities and events at Fair Close but operate within a secure area. The delivery of meals, activities, foot care, ear treatment, hairdressing and welfare support will continue as normal. The new, improved lounged will be available for use by Fair Close member and guests at all other times and we hope to extend it’s use into and our range of activities into the weekend in the future.
We are very proud of the Fair Close family and our work together to help ensure West Berkshire continues to be a good place to grow old well. We would love your name suggestions for the Club, suggestions so far include the “Camelia Club”, taking inspiration from the beautiful plant that blooms outside the lounge, and the “Camomile Club”. Please share your thoughts with Louise in person or call on 07496 587904.
