We are always in need of volunteer drivers!
Whatever your availability, we welcome your help! Some of our drivers help several times a week, some once a month. Delivering Meals on Wheels is a rewarding activity helping to keep in touch with older people in the area who may be housebound or isolated, ensuring that they have at least one nutritious meal a day and contact with another person.
Rounds start at 11:30 or 11:45 and would take 45 – 90 minutes of your time. We run a monthly prize draw for all of our volunteers as a way to say thank you as we couldn’t provide this much needed service without them!
Please get in touch to become part of our valued team of volunteer drivers.
Our Welfare Officer, Teresa is available in person at the Centre and by phone Monday to Friday to give advice and offer help with problems however big or small.

Our unisex hairdressing salon is open, appointments available with Jane from Monday - Thursday. Call Jane directly on 01635 551808.
Our activity schedule features a mixture of regular activities such as chair exercises, arts and crafts, quizzes, live entertainment and more, monthly events such as the dementia café, tea & tech, bake sales, and one-off events such as pet therapy. Most activities are just £1 per session.
